Beatles may live in harmony with nature but not with the furniture in your home.

One of the most common bug house pests are carpet beetles. Small oval insects that range in size from 1 to 12 mm, usually dark with coloured scales.

Carpet beetles are attracted by the warmth of central heating, that is why carpets in your home make a perfect environment for them.

The preferred diet of carpet beetles varies within their species but it can be anything from : any type of animal product (leather, wool, hair, feathers), organic matter, hide, silk, felt, cereals, pasta, nuts, species, carpets, blankets and other fabrics, dead organic forms; therefore they cause significant damage and annoyance to home owners.

Signs of carpet beetles infestation can vary from discarded beetle’s skins to holes in carpets, blankets, clothes, fabrics.
